PepsiCo Canada ULC’s ("PepsiCo Canada", “we”, “us”, and “our”) Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out the manner in which we collect, use and disclose information about you.

It is our aim through this Policy to explain what information PepsiCo Canada collects about you and why we collect the information. We also want to make sure you understand how we use and share your information and the choices available to you. Our goal is to earn and keep your trust as you visit websites and applications about our products and brands.

This Policy describes how we treat personal information on the websites (“sites”) where this Policy appears, including our brand sites. This Policy does not describe our practices on sites where it is not referenced. What information do we collect?

We collect contact information. For example, we may collect your name, street address and postal code from you when you register on our sites. We may also collect your phone number or email address.

We collect payment information. If you make purchases with us, we (or the payment processor who process payment cards for us) may collect your billing information. This includes your payment card number.

We collect information you submit or otherwise provide or authorize us to collect. We collect the information you post in a public space on our site. This includes comments and videos or photos. We also collect the information you provide when you contact us, such as when you submit a question, compliment, complaint or idea. If you contact us through a social media site, we may collect your social media user identifier.

We collect demographic information and information about your interests. We may collect information such as your gender and age, household or lifestyle information, and your postal code for the purposes of better understanding our customers and their needs.

We collect internet and electronic network activity information, such as device and usage information. We may collect information about the browser you are using, and we may look at what site you came from, or what site you visit when you leave us. We may also collect information about your operating system, Internet Service Provider (ISP) information and IP addresses and other device identifiers, such as mobile device identifiers. In addition, we may collect information about your use of our Services, including through use of tracking technologies such as cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies. We collect job application information, such as professional or employment-related information and education information. We collect information if you apply for a job with us. This information may include your education and work history, your skills, and qualifications for the position. We may ask about how you learned about the position. If applicable, we may ask about your driving record and your ability to perform the position. We may also collect the last four digits of your social insurance number and your nationality. On a strictly voluntary basis, we may also collect demographic-related data including your age, gender and other personal details, which is stored confidentially.

We collect information about third parties. From time to time, we may allow you to send an email or message to a friend through one of our sites. If you choose to do this, we will need that person’s name and email address.

How do we collect information?

We collect information directly from you. We collect information from you when you:

register on one of our sites
join our loyalty programs, such as Tasty Rewards
apply for a job
sign up for our email newsletters and other notifications
participate in promotions such as sweepstakes or contests

We collect information from you passively. We use tracking tools like browser cookies. We do this on our websites, in emails that we send to you, and in media advertising. We collect information about usage and browser information over time.

We may also use a third party such as Google Analytics to help us gather and analyze information about the areas visited on the Website (such as the pages most read, time spent, search terms and other engagement data) in order to evaluate and improve the user experience and the Website. We may collect information from third parties with your consent. For example, if you choose to register on one of our sites using a third-party social media platform, with your consent we may collect information from the third-party social media platform for the purposes of completing your registration.

How we may use the information we collect.

We use information to help us effectively provide you products and services. We use your information to respond to your questions or enable you to participate in our programs, including our promotions. We may use your information to administer your registration and process orders on our sites. If you provide contact information for a third party, such as a friends or family member, for the purposes of inviting them to participate, we may use such contact information for the purposes of delivering the invitation. We share information with our business partners and third-party vendors who work on our behalf. With your consent, we may share information with companies that help us deliver tailored advertising to you on third-party websites and apps. We will share information if we think we must in order to comply with the law or to protect our company. We and our Canadian, US and other foreign service providers may provide your information in response to a search warrant to other legally valid inquiry or order, or to another organization for the purposes of investigating a breach of an agreement or contravention of law or detecting, suppressing or preventing fraud, or as otherwise may be required or permitted by applicable Canadian, U.S. or other law or legal process, which may include lawful access by US or foreign courts, law enforcement or other government authorities. Your personal information may also be disclosed where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims and to investigate or prevent actual or suspected loss or harm to persons or property.

We may share information in the event of a sale of all or part of our business. We may transfer any information we have about you as an asset in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of PepsiCo Canada or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control.

You have certain choices about how we use your information.

You can opt out of email marketing. To stop receiving promotional emails from us, follow the unsubscribe link in any promotional email message you get from us and follow the instructions to unsubscribe. If you opt-out of receiving marketing email messages, you may continue to receive non-marketing email messages from us, such as prizing or other important notifications, where permitted by law.

Access to Information

Subject to applicable law, you may have certain rights such as the right to access, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information in our custody or control. You may withdraw your consent or request access, updating and corrections of inaccuracies in your personal information in our custody or control by emailing or writing to us at the contact information set out below. We may request certain personal information for the purpose of verifying the identity of the individual seeking access to his or her personal information records.

We use standard security measures.

We use appropriate and reasonable security measures on our sites. This includes taking steps to address physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect the information in our custody or control. We have record retention processes designed to retain personal information for no longer than necessary for the purposes set out herein or as otherwise required to meet legal or business requirements.

Children's privacy.

It is not our intention to collect personal information from children under age 14.
