What’s the best way to store Aunt Jemima products?

Storing packaged foods in a clean, dry and cool location is essential to maintaining product freshness for the longest period of time. Improper storage, such as exposure to high temperatures, direct sunlight, humidity, etc., may reduce the recommended shelf life.

Freezing corn meal or grits directly in the package is one way to extend the freshness. The meal will remain free-flowing and does not need to be defrosted. Wrap the package in plastic wrap, then wrap again in aluminum foil to prevent moisture from entering the product.
